New Zealand Equine Training scheme was established in 1980 by
various industry groups as an 'on the job' training programme
for new entrants into the industry. 'The training scheme is
a programme that combines paid work with formal training towards
NZQA National Certificates. Training towards the following certificates
can be completed while working in a related area:
